OMG...
will wonders never cease???
63 years old and I just had my first taste of yogurt.
yoplait triple berry torte.
i hate to admit how tasty it is!
dammit. i could have been eating it all these years!
just goes to show you should NEVER say "I hate ____."
because you just may have to eat those words some day when you get smart enough to actually try ____.
pass the salt.

  I hardly know where to begin.  The world hasn't stopped spinning in the past five years since I last wrote here.  I've gotten considerably older.  We got another granddaughter and also a great-granddaughter.  And I've lost my dear husband to pancreatic cancer.        A year before he died he bought me a puppy because he said he knew I would need a companion.  I'm so glad he did!  Little Boo has been amazing.  She is so full of energy.  I take her to the cemetery each evening for our walk all around the perimeter.      Having the store has also been good for me.  I've never been one who could be content to sit at home.  I just celebrated my 30th year in business with an open house at the store and it went over very well.  I had over 100 people who came.  My son was a huge help in getting ready for that.  He had so many good ideas that we implemented.       ...

BORROWED TIME My husband keeps telling me that we are living on borrowed time. The Bible tells us: “The days of our years are threescore years and ten: and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow: for it is soon cut off, and we fly  away.”   Psalm 90:10 But it also says: “And the Lord said, My Spirit shall not always strive with  man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an  hundred  and twenty years.”   Genesis 6:3 So how long do we have? 70? 80? 120? That is something  that no one knows. I think He was trying to tell us to live each day as if it’s our  last, and to make the best of the time we have here. If I Had Only Known

If I had only known that my hair would not always be lustrous and thick and auburn... would I have spent more time fixing it each and every day? If I had only known how fast my children would grow up... would I have spent more time playing  with them and just holding them? If I had only known that my time with my parents would come to an end... would I have spent more time  asking them all the questions that I now have about them and their parents and grandparents and what it was like for them growing up? I am not qualified to pronounce deep assessments of Life and Love... When I can see 70 on the horizon and my body looks like my mother's and time is going so fast that I can hardly catch my breath...
